In order to celebrate the opening of Christian Dior flagship store in Shanghai, Dior has invited Chinese fashion photographer Quentin Shih to shoot a series of photos themed Christian Dior – Shanghai Dreamers.
I bet most of you may feel unfamiliar to this man. But his works enjoys a great reputation in the international arena, at tha same time, the vivid film style reflected from his works is praised highly by the public. The vigour of summer continues…On the runway of Haute Couture during the latest quarter, our brilliant designer John Galliano, turning himself into a fashion gardener, has shown us a colorful and dazzling enchanted garden.
At the same time, as another soul designer of Christian Dior, Victoire de Castellane also has drawn the inspiration from the nature. Having Milly la Forêt Garden boasted by Mr. Dior in France as a background, she created a series of riotous beautiful Diorette series of haute jewelry by means of eighty-nine kinds of sparking colors.

John Galliano to be Honored
Followed by Karl Lagerfeld who was awarded by French President Nicolas Sarkozy, the design director of Christian Dior John Galliano has been awarded the prestigious Legion of Honor award with a ranking of Chevalier(which means Knight in English)by him at a ceremony at the historic Elysée Palace in Paris in recent days as well.
Born in Gibraltar, this genius design director of Christian Dior received this honourable reputation in the company of Manolo Blahnik, Kate Moss, the CEO of Dior Sidney Toledano, LVMH Group chairman Bernard Arnault couple and some other friends.
When speaking of John Galliano, Manolo Blahnik said, “I’ve always admired what he’s done, and yet I feel like he’s just getting started.” After Bernard Arnault tap John Galliano in 1995, he had held the post of the designer of Givenchy for a year then John began his broad road in Christian Dior.

Entitled “Coal”, this series of menswear has appeared in unusual look.
